It happened when I pulled my Teeth
No one should have to be their own dentist or be without any dental insurance plan . I’m 52 years old and this is my story. Back in 2007 I had a badly abcessed tooth. I didn’t have dental insurance and did not have a job to pay the bills. I was experiencing extreme pain in the above the neck. To the point that I started having headaches because the infection had already spread to my right eye. My right side of my face was already swollen. So I finally decided it was time to call the dentist and make that appointment.
They told me I had to have $240.00 up front before they would see me. This was just to have a tooth pulled. I was in agonizing pian and was not sure if I could wait the 5 days to see the Dentist. Also I didn’t have the money and didn’t now anyone who would lend me that kind of money on such short notice. So there i sat crying in pain. I decided I was talented enough to pull my own tooth. I tied a string on it just like I used to do with my own children when they were little. When I went to give it a tug a sharp pain went up the side of my face, so bad that I thought I would pass out. I sobbed and sobbed. I held that string to my chest and prayed. Finally the Tooth was being eased out. At that point it came out without any pain. After a consultation with the Dentist I realized I had been in potentially fatal situation.
The Good Lord saved me that day so I may tell other people like me that you really don’t need to be your own dentist. A job like this should be left to professionals. Now I have my and I can actually see a real pro now. Thank you, Ameriplan.
